Anthony ("Tony") Arnerich

Tony Arnerich founded Arnerich Massena in 1991. In his capacity as chief executive officer, he directs the development of the firm, managing strategic growth and firm direction. As chief investment officer, he oversees the Investment Committee, managing the process of establishing investment policy and overall strategy. Mr. Arnerich also works directly with clients as an advisor; his West-Coast client base includes corporate, public, and not-for-profit organizations, as well as high net worth individuals. He founded an award-winning business-to-school partnership with Portland's Irvington School, which represents a significant commitment of funding and employee volunteer time to neighborhood schools.

Tony Arnerich's experience in the investment industry spans more than 25 years, during which he served as an investment executive and helped found the Investment Management Consulting Group of Dain Bosworth. In prior years, he owned and managed businesses in the Pacific Northwest.

Mr. Arnerich earned a Bachelor of Arts from Santa Clara University. He is also a former FINRA Series 7, 63, and 24 license holder.

Arthur Coyne, CFA

Arthur Coyne's responsibilities include research in strategic and tactical asset allocation, capital markets, portfolio risk analysis, and the completion of primary and ongoing manager due diligence.

Mr. Coyne's investment industry experience spans more than 25 years. Prior to joining Arnerich Massena in 2012, he served as the manager of Consulting Services for the British Columbia Investment Management Corporation and as chief investment officer at Northwest Capital Management. Previously, between 2000 and 2005, he held the position of senior research analyst with Arnerich Massena.

Mr. Coyne holds a Bachelor of Science, cum laude, in computer engineering from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. He has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of CFA Portland.

RJ Wamsley

As head of alternative investments, Rodney J. Wamsley primarily focuses on alternative investments, including sourcing new investment managers and completing primary and ongoing due diligence. Mr. Wamsley is a member of Arnerich Massena's Investment Committee.

Prior to joining Arnerich Massena in 2009, Mr. Wamsley was the founder and managing partner of Tretower Capital, LLC, where he was responsible for all investment and trading operations of the fund. Prior to founding Tretower Capital, Mr. Wamsley served as chief investment officer for Lookout Mountain Capital, Inc. (LMC), where he co-managed the LMC Compass Fund, L.P. (the Compass Fund), a fund-of-funds investing in long/short equity hedge funds. Mr. Wamsley also worked with SunTrust Bank, Barclay's Bank, and Northern Trust Bank, where he focused on investment strategies and execution in the financial futures and options markets for institutional clients and traders.

Mr. Wamsley holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from Mercer University.

Matt Bryant's primary responsibilities include researching and sourcing new long-only investment managers and completing ongoing due diligence, with a focus on the traditional investment universe. Additional responsibilities include client projects such as fund manager searches, investment portfolio analysis, and industry analysis. He previously served as a performance measurement analyst at Arnerich Massena.

Mr. Bryant joined Arnerich Massena in 2006. He holds a Bachelor of Science in political science from the University of Oregon.

Matt Bryant has been an I AM Learning Partner for more than seven years. I AM Learning Partners volunteer as mentors, working directly with children in Arnerich Massena's I AM Learning Partnership math, literacy, enrichment, and summer camp programs at a local elementary school. He also volunteers at the Oregon Food Bank.

Eric Messer

Eric Messer focuses both on investment research and on institutional platform and service provider research. His investment research responsibilities include manager due diligence and review, fund manager searches, and analysis of portfolio diversification and asset allocation. His platform and service provider research responsibilities include institutional relationship and contract evaluation, fee and cost review and negotiation, evaluation of service provider proposals, and investment policy development. Mr. Messer spent three years as a performance measurement analyst at Arnerich Massena before joining the analytics team in 2008.

Prior to joining Arnerich Massena in 2005, Mr. Messer was an auditor for Guardian Management.

Mr. Messer holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Portland with major studies in finance and significant coursework in accounting and political science.

Andrew Coutu

As manager of analytics, Andrew Coutu oversees Arnerich Massena's Analytics Team. His additional responsibilities include sourcing new investment managers and the completion of primary and ongoing due diligence within the traditional investment universe. He also leads the Corporate Owned Life Insurance and Non-Qualified Deferred Compensation practices; his duties include evaluating underlying investment options as well as the overall fund menu of several insurance carriers. Additional responsibilities include manager searches and reviews, asset allocation modeling and manager structure studies, and various client projects. Mr. Coutu is a member of Arnerich Massena's Investment Committee.

Prior to joining Arnerich Massena in 2000, Mr. Coutu worked in the operations department at Copper Mountain Trust.

Mr. Coutu holds a Bachelor of Arts in business administration with a concentration in finance from Portland State University.

Bryan P. Shipley, CFA

As head of traditional and real asset investments, Bryan Shipley oversees traditional investment manager research, including sourcing and conducting primary and ongoing due diligence within the traditional investment universe. He also heads the research effort in real assets including public and private real estate, commodities, timber, natural resources, infrastructure, and sustainable investing. In addition, Mr. Shipley provides guidance on client projects such as portfolio reviews, asset allocation modeling, and manager structure studies. He is a member of Arnerich Massena's Investment Committee, Product Committee, and Portfolio Management Committee.

Prior to joining Arnerich Massena in 2003, Mr. Shipley served as an associate for Wurts & Associates, where he conducted traditional and alternative investment manager research and due diligence and oversaw a planned giving investment program. His responsibilities also included asset allocation modeling, performance evaluation and attribution reporting, and quarterly market analysis.

Mr. Shipley holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration with a concentration in finance from Western Washington University. He has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Portland.

Ryan Atchley

Ryan Atchley's primary responsibilities include sourcing and completing primary and ongoing due diligence on alternative investment managers. Additional responsibilities include asset allocation modeling, fund manager searches, and industry and market research.

Ryan Atchley joined Arnerich Massena in 2012 as a portfolio administrator, responsible for implementing and maintaining client investment programs. His responsibilities included placing trades, including general servicing of clients, processing new accounts, new manager funding, fund transfers, and wire requests. Mr. Atchley was also responsible for maintaining internal databases. Ryan Atchley previously served at Fisher Investments as account executive.

Mr. Atchley earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Oregon and holds a FINRA Series 65 license.

Ryan Atchley has been an I AM Learning Partner for more than two years. I AM Learning Partners volunteer as mentors, working directly with children in Arnerich Massena's I AM Learning Partnership math, literacy, enrichment, and summer camp programs at a local elementary school. He also volunteers with Easter Seals Oregon to help low-income individuals manage and establish budgets.

Mukunda Loprinzi, J.D.

Mukunda Loprinzi focuses both on investment research and on platform and service provider research for institutional clients. His fund platform analysis responsibilities include the identification and evaluation of fees and expenses associated with plan investments, analysis of investment options and services, review of institutional relationships, negotiation of fees and contracts, and monitoring of revenue sharing arrangements. Investment research responsibilities include the sourcing of new investment managers and the completion of primary and ongoing due diligence within the traditional and alternative investment universes. Mr. Loprinzi first joined Arnerich Massena in 2001 as a performance measurement analyst. In 2003, Mr. Loprinzi left to attend law school, rejoining Arnerich Massena in 2007 as an analyst.

During the intervening years between his departure from and return to Arnerich Massena, Mr. Loprinzi interned for the Honorable Anna J. Brown of the United States District Court for the District of Oregon, worked for the Oregon State Bar, and served the Classroom Law Project, assisting junior high school students with mock trial camps.

Mr. Loprinzi holds a Bachelor of Arts in business administration from Lewis & Clark College and a Juris Doctorate from Lewis & Clark Law School.
